Topologies of PINs and Root Systems

I was a great to conclude the summer and give a lecture at my Alma Mater the Nicolaus Copernicus University at Faculty of Biological and Veterinary Sciences – Toruń.

I was invited Dr Dorota Nemecz from Biochemistry Department and by Dr hab. Justyna Wiśniewska from the department of Physiology and Biotechnology of plants to give a lecture in the SciPro series with the talk entitled “Topologies of PINs and Root Systems.” In which I advertised the resent PIN topology research done at CEITEC showcasing CEITEC facilities in it and the yet unpublished Lateral Root mutants data base (LAVA), a resource in which broader scientific community might be interested in.

I discussed our collaboration of plant adaptation to environmental changes with Dr Wiśniewska. I also spoke to Dr Tomasz Jędrzejewski (Immunology Department) about immunolocalization techniques and Dr hab. Dariusz Jan Smoliński (Cell Biology Department) about possible collaboration with genome and cell division interested groups at CEITEC.
